Getting divorce evidence in the Abernathy case looked like a routine job for an operative like Mark Wonder. That fat, aging old goat was frolicking around in public with a gorgeous blonde nobody could mistake for his wife. And wherever the illicit twosome went Mark followed, candid camera in hand, snapping up the evidence. But just when he'd put the wraps on the case, and stashed his camera, things started to bust.
 
A red-haired mystery babe took off with the pictures. A red-faced Abernathy took after Mark with a gun. And a red-hot client tossed a murderously twisting bombshell right into Mark's lap.
